Josh Podoris, a native of Childersburg, is a seasoned sports enthusiast with a rich history in baseball. He is a proud husband to Lorin and a doting father to their son Carter and daughter Kennedy. Josh is a former All-State Baseball Player and a State Champion from his high school days at Childersburg, where he also played varsity football and varsity basketball. His passion for baseball led him to play four years of college baseball at Wallace-Dothan and the University of West Alabama, earning him a spot on the 2nd team All Conference. He had the privilege of playing under several MLB Alumni, further honing his skills and deepening his love for the sport.

After his college years, Josh transitioned into a career in education, serving as a middle school and high Social Studies Teacher. His dedication to his students and his craft earned him the title of Teacher of the Year. He also served as the Varsity Head Baseball Coach at Childersburg High School. His exceptional leadership and coaching skills were recognized in 2021, his first full season as head coach when he was named Baseball Coach of the Year after his Tigers clinched the first area championship in nearly a decade. Josh is a die-hard Boston Red Sox fan and a music enthusiast. His love for sports and music is only surpassed by his love for his family and friends.
