AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn is set to open the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament against UConn in a first-round matchup slated to take place Wednesday, Nov. 24 at 1:30 p.m. CT on ESPN and the Auburn Sports Network.

The Tigers and Huskies meet for the second game of the tournament following the Michigan State-Loyola Chicago duel at 11 a.m. CT to complete the top half of the bracket. The bottom half of the bracket includes matchups between Syracuse and VCU as well as Arizona State and Baylor.

Auburn and UConn recently completed a home-and-home series in which the Tigers took both results. Auburn won the first matchup on Dec. 23, 2016 in Hartford, 70-67 in overtime. When two teams met in Auburn Arena a year later, the Tigers got off to a fast start and never looked back, earning an 89-64 win.

The Battle 4 Atlantis men’s field is among the most impressive in its history, with teams accounting for eight national championships, 27 Final Four appearances and 70 conference championships.
