Alabama Softball Earns No. 3 Seed for 2021 SEC Tournament, Begins Play Thursday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The bracket for the 2021 SEC Softball Tournament at Rhoads Stadium is set and Alabama will enter postseason play as the league’s No. 3 seed, opening action Thursday, May 13 against either Kentucky or Georgia.

With the top four seeds earning a first-round bye, tournament host Alabama will play in the final game on Thursday night against either Kentucky or Georgia, who square off on Wednesday. The four winners from Thursday’s second round games will advance to Friday’s semifinals, which begin at 3 p.m. CT, with a SEC Tournament Champion crowned on Saturday at 5 p.m. CT.

All first and second round games will air live on the SEC Network with the two semifinal games and the SEC Tournament Championship airing on ESPN2.
