Fairview escapes close call with Fairfield High 30-28

A sigh of relief filled the air in Fairview’s locker room after Friday’s 30-28 win against Fairfield High in an Alabama high school football matchup.

The Aggies matched the Tigers’ offensive output 14-14 in the final period to thwart any last hopes.

Fairview broke in front at the beginning of the fourth quarter with a 16-14 lead over Fairfield High.

Through the early stages of the affair, the Tigers controlled the pace, taking a 14-13 lead into halftime.

The first quarter gave the Aggies a 7-6 lead over the Tigers.
